Thank you to everyone who supports my work by purchasing my designs, I really love to hear your comments and see your creations so please send in pictures of your finished flowers and I will add them to the gallery.
Hi Nicola I have been developing my felted knitting work over a number of months, and
I was intrigued about your advice on the website. So much so, that I have
purchased a Sunncamp portable washing machine. I found a great deal on
e:bay, and actually opted for the washing machine only model which worked I have completed a couple of projects, and am completely converted such a brilliant suggestion. However, I added one other thing, which is my top tip I added to the washing machine a couple of the tumble dryer ³eco balls² which provide a fabulous amount of friction to the process. The other thing I also tried and was equally good was a couple of those looped rubber balls designed for dogs to chew on. Again lots of agitation and friction. But I would recommend the ³eco balls² as they don¹t drag at the felt quite so much. Re: cost, I found a local ³pound shop² that sold the ³eco balls² for only £1 per pack. So I feel pretty pleased with my e:bay bargain washing machine and pound shop eco balls a pretty perfect felting kit. Many thanks for the hot tip brilliant lateral thinking!
Hi Nicola I just wanted to thank you for your lovely flower pot pattern. I am in the Here¹s a pic of what I have so far. (picture of pots below). Heide |
