Yarn Bouquet

New for 2009 is this beautiful yarn bouquet. Flowers require small amounts of yarn and the Yarn Bouquet exclusive to The Knitted Bouquet allows you to create a stunning display of 7 flowers in all different colours for a fraction of the cost.

If using with flower patterns from The Knitted Bouquet, a 25g ball will be sufficient for a tulip, rose, Daffodil or Chrysanthemum. So you could purchase one of these patterns and make a 7 flower bouquet in all the different colours or purchase a couple of patterns (e.g rose and tulip and make a mixed bouquet). The choice is yours!

The Yarn Bouquet consists of 7 x 25g balls of Cascade 220 (please see yarn section for exact details of this high quality yarn) in the following colours for the flowers:

Yellow (9463B). Natural (8010), Poppy Orange (7826), Zinnia Red (9466), Lilac Mist (8912), Grape Jelly (8911), Shrimp (7804).

PLUS a 50g ball of Cascade 220 Highland Green (9430) for all those stems!

And, because the Cascade 220 also felts beautifully you can play around with this technique as well. Whether you are treating yourself or a fellow knitter the Yarn Bouquet can’t fail to delight.
